On Wednesday I was inspired by the gorgeous pastel dresses from the Elie Saab 2012 Spring Couture collection and created some lovely pastel inspiration boards for you to pour your eyes over. So today I wanted to show you some of my favorite pastel picks from the web and a very special hair tutorial at the end!
A pastel colour palette is perfect for any spring or summer wedding/event, whether you use pale or bright pastels and depending on how you use the palette and which colours you can use you can create vibes such as vintage or nature.
I found this amazing shoot on modernweddingblog, a bright pastel sweet inspired theme. The colours and textures really pop out!
I love these cute pastel porcelain wedding pegs by Jo Heckett they could be used in so many ways on the day such as name holders, table decor, escort cards etc she also makes personalised wedding table name tiles, she really has a cool collection!
I just adore this handbeaded wedding garter, by Peterene Design. The colours are gorgeous and its extremely vintage-esque looks like from an era gone by.
I love this green pastel family tree photoframe by Wik Wak. I think this would look sweet as table centre pieces or even used as the table plan. What you think?
Now you all know I’m a lover of shoes and I couldn’t not include these fab candy/pastel coloured shoes by Kurt Geiger.
If you have shoes you can’t forget a dress right? Well who could resist this beautiful dress by Joanne Fleming? Stunning.
And as promised here is a fab idea to bring pastel to your hair by chalking it up. Yes chalk on hair and it really works! Brought to you by The Beauty Department – see pastels are just for your nails & make up!!
It looks so fun and extremely easy to do so for the full tutorial visit The Beauty Department here!
Have you seen anything pastel that’s caught your eye then feel free to share!
